CVCF

A CVCF (Constant Voltage Constant Frequency) inverter includes a main circuit, a voltage and frequency control loop. In a normal operating mode, constant voltage, constant frequency control is carried out by output feedback . CVCF is noth but a UPS without Batteries and power backup. In CVCF the incoming AC supply is converted into DC and the DC power is inverted through a hi frequency PWM controlled IGBTs. Output waveform will be pure sinusoidal and the frequency is also maintained and controlled as a fixed value. This makes it possible to protect the components of the inverter and to supply power reliably.
